Welcome, plant lover! At Cute Farms Shop, we pour our hearts into curating and sending you the most vibrant Air Plants, Succulents, Terrarium Kits, and Supplies. We want every item that arrives at your door to bring you the same joy we feel when tending our own mini-gardens.
However, we understand that sometimes a plant might not arrive in its perfect perky state, or a Glass Hanger might not be exactly what you envisioned. Just as we’re committed to your privacy with care and transparency, we stand by our products with a Safe, Simple, and Sprightly return and exchange policy.
📦 The Root of the Policy: You may return or exchange most items within 15 days of receiving your shipment. Please read on for the details that help our little ecosystem thrive.
🔄 What Can Be Returned or Exchanged?
Most of our products are eligible for return or exchange, including:
- Terrarium Kits & Supplies (unused and in original packaging)
- Glass containers, Hangers, and Terrarium Decor
- Plant Care Kits, Organic Plant Food, and Slow-Release Plant Food (unopened)
- Decorative Moss and Miniatures
🌱 What Cannot Be Returned or Exchanged?
To ensure the health and safety of our living products and maintain hygiene standards, the following items are final sale:
- All Living Plants: This includes Air Plants, Succulent Plants, Succulents, and Plants sold individually. Due to their perishable nature and the specific care they require after leaving our nursery, we cannot accept returns on live flora.
- Opened or Used Consumables: Any opened packages of Plant Food, Organic Plant Food, or Slow-Release Plant Food.
- Personalized or Custom Items.
- Items damaged due to improper care or handling after delivery.
If your living plant arrives damaged or in poor health, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos within 48 hours of delivery, and we’ll work with you to make it right!
📝 Simple Steps to Return or Exchange
- Initiate Your Request: Contact us within 15 days of receipt. Please use the template below to send your request to [email protected].
- Wait for Authorization: Our friendly team will respond within 2 business days with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions. Please do not ship items back without an RMA number.
- Pack Your Item: Securely pack the item in its original packaging, if possible, including all parts and accessories. Include a copy of your order confirmation or a note with your RMA number and name.
- Ship It Back: Mail the package to our nursery address (provided in your RMA email). We recommend using a trackable shipping service. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
- Let Us Handle the Rest: Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you and process your refund or exchange.

💸 Refunds: Timing & Method
We process refunds with the same care we give our succulents—thoughtfully and promptly.
- Timing: Please allow 5-10 business days after we receive your return for the refund to be processed. The time it takes for the funds to appear in your account will then depend on your financial institution:
- Credit/Debit Card (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): 3-10 business days.
- PayPal: Usually within 24-48 hours.
- Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Shipping costs are only refunded if the return is due to our error or a defective item.
✉️ Exchanges
For exchanges, we will ship the new item once the original return is received and inspected. If the new item has a higher value, we will charge the difference. For a lower value item, we will refund the difference.
