Echeveria Laui
Family
Crassulaceae
Origin
Mexico
Echeveria Laui is a sought-after succulent known for its slow growth and distinctive thick, powdery rosettes, which shift in color from pale blue-white to soft pink depending on light exposure. Mature rosettes typically span 8–15 cm in diameter after several years. The plant produces delicate, bell-shaped flowers on short stems, displaying a color range from peachy-rose to orange-red, occasionally with pinkish or coral hues beneath the farina. Flowering occurs mainly during its active growth period, from late winter through spring to early summer.
Environment
Full sun to filtered shade. Average Water Needs; Water regularly; do not over water.
As with all succulents, the most dangerous situation is too much water- they should never be allowed to sit in water under any circumstances.
These decorative little plants can be grown in interesting containers such as tea cups and even miniature baby shoes. Make sure the container had adequate drainage. If it doesn’t, it might be a good idea to pop the plant out of its container and add a layer of gravel to the bottom to reduce the wicking action of the soil above.
Landscape Use
Suitable for Container, Rock Garden & Xeriscaping
